Me, My Breath, and the Mubblygrubs

By Jamie Goldring

Have you ever had the mubblygrubs? Those overwhelming emotions that send our bodies into constant motion. We all get the mubblygrubs, and it’s ok when things don’t always go our way.
The mubblygrubs are those unpleasant physical sensations that you feel in your body when you experience different emotions.Children are taught to welcome all of their feelings. They learn that it’s ok to feel angry, nervous, sad, disappointed, scared, frustrated, or any of their feelings. Those are normal feelings that we all experience. If we are not allowed to feel those emotions, we’ll never learn how to deal with them.
